Charlottesville-2020
Announcement (March 10, 2020): In conjunction with the cancellation of the AMS Spring Southeastern Sectional Meeting in Charlottesville, MAAGC 2020 has also been cancelled. The AMS is reimbursing paid registration fees. Send your request for reimbursement to mmsb@ams.org.
The seventh annual Mid-Atlantic Algebra, Geometry, and Combinatorics (MAAGC) Workshop will take place March 13 -- 15, 2020 at the University of Virginia.
All talks and the panel will take place in Monroe Hall 124 located at 248 McCormick Rd Charlottesville, VA located across McCormick road from the West side of the Ampitheater. The poster session will take place in Kerchof Hall Rooms 314 and 317 located at 141 Cabell Dr Charlottesville, VA, a short walk away from Minor Hall.
The MAAGC Workshop aims to bring together senior researchers and junior mathematicians from the region to exchange ideas and forge collaborations in algebra, geometry, and combinatorics. The conference is funded by National Science Foundation grant DMS-1728937 and a Mellon Tri-College Roots Grant.
Registration: Please register here; it is free but helpful for planning purposes (space and refreshments). Junior participants (undergraduate and graduate students as well as postdocs) are encouraged to participate in the poster session. Please include a tentative poster title during registration if you wish to be considered.
